With Devon Open Studios taking place from the 10th, I had to settle down to making up a couple of new things with my block printed fabric; napkins made with cheery primroses and snowdrops and a small denim bag with upcycled lining from a dress I previously loved.
Open Studios at Art house, South Brent started with a private view. It was buzzing with people and there was a great atmosphere. Over the next few weeks there always seemed to be people coming in to see the different makers and artists. Being part of a large group of creatives and having the chance to talk about what I make to visitors has made September a busy but fulfilling month.
I have also made a few Japanese aprons for a beautiful shop in Totnes called Me and East. They are so comfortable and easy to wear for all sorts of occasions and reasons.
It certainly has been nice to be a little cooler but I'm not so ready to see the swallows go. I hope your September has been a good one. Thank you for reading my blog.
