The month started off with a couple of markets, the local one in Totnes and also the Green Maker Sale in Bovey Tracey at Make Southwest, where it is always lovely to see the familiar faces of other makers.
It was still very hot to print and sew so I turned my hand to doing some collage work using hand-printed papers and reject prints.
When it was cool enough I got back to sewing some door stops and some small zip bags....
....and had a go at printing some hare monotypes on a phone screen saver I found in the bottom of a drawer and a circle of glass that I found while clearing my Mum's house.
At the end of the month I was in the Kingsbridge Market hall with the Press Gang Printmakers group that are based in Salcombe. It is always such an amazing show including a wide variety of printmaking techniques.
In August I will be back at Totnes Artisan market and will be catching up with other makers and artists in readiness for the South Hams Arts Trail in October.
