June 2026 - a very hot one...

The month began with making a postcard print for a fundraiser for Harberton Church.

It was followed by a busy time of making and preparing for Bovey Craft Festival, where I was lucky enough to be part of the Devon Artist Network stand. Nigel even made me some new stands for my bookmarks.

I was with a great bunch of other makers and artists.

I was also in the local Totnes Artisan market, which is a great place to catch up with familiar faces. I will be back there on the 14th July.

When we had the hot week, it really was too hot to do much but I made the most of the time by trying to get back into thinking about a children's book that I wrote with a friend.

When it was cooler, it's the time of year that is great for printing with plants from the garden.

To finish the month, a patchwork cushion was made for the Green Maker Sale I am doing at Make Southwest on Saturday 11th July and the monthly flower was drawn in my five year diary.

In July I am looking forward to being at these two events as well as the local artisan market. Lets hope it doesn't get too hot!
