July 24 ending with more blue skies...

The wild carrot growing in my garden has been lovely to draw this month.

After having Covid, it has been great to be out and about this month doing a few different markets in Abbotskerswell, Dartington and Totnes.

On the making front I finally finished some eye masks and more doorstops.

At home I have tried to become better at using a gelli plate to create layered prints using vegetation from the garden.

Printing blue patterns on fabric has also kept me busy.

Back at Art House in South Brent I have started to print my sunrise linocut, after being shown how to etch my plate.

Finally it has been all systems go to get ready for the Impressions show in the Kingsbridge Market Hall with so many amazing printmakers. For me it has certainly been different to have some prints framed

Now I am looking forward to the Creative Passions Exhibition at Thurlestone and the new Makers Markets at Mothecombe while the Impressions Exhibition in Kingsbridge market hall carries on until Saturday 3rd August.
