I am looking forward to being back at Toby's garden festival next week in the Artisan barn. It is a great day out for everyone and hopefully the sun will continue to shine.
It has been a busy month getting back into creating, making some new lino cuts which in turn can then be printed on fabric.
I had a lovely couple of days with the artist Maggie Smith at Mothecombe stables and the sun shone again.
Inspired by Maggie's printing using naturally found objects I had a go at making some postcards mixing watercolour with printing.
It certainly has been good to have some better weather to get out and about and make the most of the seasonal flowers....
and the crab-apple tree in our garden is so pretty it ended up being put in my flower of the month sketch book.
