February 2025....the year is slowly waking up along with primroses and daffodils.

Great to be able to do such a mixture of makes this month...

The month started off with me using free motion embroidery to make some of images I drew in the sketchbook challenge into fabric badges along with a badge for a lovely lady I have got to know through markets who makes colourful mosaics.

Badges nearly finished.....

I have also tried to discipline myself to make more prints at home while not at Art House in South Brent. I used tetrapak for one.

And linocut for another adding some chine colle for colour.

Under the sea.... inspired by hearing sea shanties in a local pub.

There has also been some making going on after I made the decision to start from the bottom of the to do list.

Finally , the starfish repeat fabric I made has been quilted and made up into a couple of zip bags. The quilting process was fun and the fabric and wadding was washed afterwards so that it developed a lovely puckering that makes the starfish look like they are in the sea!

Let's hope we see lots of mad hares in March.
