May 25 and there were more blue skies!

May started off with the lovely event "Toby's garden festival" at Powderham Castle, followed by the local Artisan market in Totnes.
I made some more whales out of up-cycled denim jeans after a long time break in making them. This time I decided they should have names so they are Blue, Flow and Ebb.

The blue skies continued so we had a trip up to North Devon, camping. It gave me so much inspiration. The tall cliffs, edged with Red Campion and Thrift and amazing sunsets. Along with visits to picturesque villages and towns where there always seemed to be some creatives to visit; Appledore, home to a lovely gallery; Ilfracombe, where Damion Hurst's statue stands by the Harbour; print makers and paper making in Wachet, and Porlock Weir, where people where painting en plein air.
In late May it was good to be back at Art House in South Brent playing with tetrapak and viscosity printmaking.
All in all a great month.

In June I will be at these events...
