I have just finished printing some fabric so it will dry in time if I need to make any different stock in the next month. It is great now to have a bigger choice of linocuts to use and I always have plans to make more!

A couple of reduction linocuts using complimentary colours have also been finished.

In February I was lucky to meet a lady who used to be in the printmaking group I go to but who now goes to the Wooden Spoon Printmakers near Teignmouth. I have always been intrigued by their work and have seen some of the lovely exhibitions. One thing led to another and I have nearly spent half a term with them learning how they develop their woodblock and lino prints under the guide of printmaker Sarah Morris, who is well known for her use of colour.

I have also been trying to keep up with making aprons and other things such as sleep masks so I am ready for some events in April and May......

Let's hope the sun and blue skies continue.
