It has been great to have time this month to explore how to use Tetra-paks to make plates for printing. I have been lucky to be back @arthouseprintmaking in South Brent using their larger presses, resources and Louise who runs the groups knowledge!
One of the prints I made was for the charity Harberton Church Community Funds. I was so pleased it was well received, one going off to Australia to somebody who was originally from Harberton and a couple of others to fellow printmakers and artists.
I have done a couple of lovely fairs but the weather has really been a bit hot for me and it is only June!
I have been working on some new lino cut blocks for tea-towels. One was inspired by a favourite water jug and our oxeye daisies that are in full bloom now in our garden and another that is a take on what is left from my Mum's old childhood tea set.
I'm hoping that July will not be so hot! Becca
